Scope: Entitlement package- Approvals process

Client: Kalentari Group

Program:  27 floors condominium tower comprising 151- 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, and loft units ranging from 850 sf to 2500 sf.

The project includes 4 levels of parking and 6500 sf street level retail.

Location: 1050 S. Grand Avenue, the corner of 11th and Grand, downtown Los Angeles.

Construction: concrete frame

The tower stands as beacon at the outer fringe of downtown Los Angeles. Its architecture recalls the simple concrete industrial frame buildings that  are still abundant in east LA. The massing is left as transparent as possible, with balconies, sunshades, infill panels expressed in a gritty language reminiscent of the areas’ manufacturing past.
