Scope: Exterior Schematlc Design

Client: Legacy Partners Residential

Program: 12 floors of 375 market rate rental apartments, and 78 affordable apartments. The ground floor has a Trader Joe’s, miscellaneous retail, and an MTA transit plaza. Parking is provided in a 4 level subterranean parking garage.

Location: Vine st. and Selma Ave.,Los Angeles.

Construction: concrete frame.

The architecture of this large block of residences borrows from the unique and lively commercial atmosphere of its immediate environment. Colorful buildings, richly detailed historic buildings, all create a special hollywood context that challenges this project for a fitting, complementary articulation.
