Scope: Exterior Schematic Design

Client: confidential

Program: restoration of the historic Press Telegram Newspaper building, 532 condominiums and townhomes, a podium accommodating parking, a super market, and an amenity deck with a pool, cabanas, meeting places, an exterior kitchen and barbeque areas.

Location: Pine and 6th, Long Beach, CA

Construction: concrete frame, curtain wall.

Conceived as an urban oasis, the project includes open plan, Vancouver style apartments and low rise town homes. The town homes, together with the restored Press telegram building create a pedestrian scale foil to the 4 level parking garage in the center of the podium.
