Scope: Exterior Conceptual Design- Design development-  Approvals process

Client: Fifield Companies

Program:  24 floors of 76 luxury condominiums ranging from 2600 sf to 3300 sf with private elevators. Amenities include an ample lobby, a library, large community room, fitness center, entertainment garden, card room, smoking room, and a wine cellar and tasting room. Parking is provided in a 6 level below grade parking garage.

Location: 10800 Wilshire blvd, Westwood, CA

Construction: concrete frame, precast wall panels, Italian marble at ground level.

Marketing studies, meetings with potential buyers brought to the forefront a distinct preference for Los Angles style  Art Deco architecture, prevalent in historic neighborhoods such as West Hollywood, Rossmore Avenue, and others. The flexibilities afforded by the precast exterior system created opportunities for rich detailing, warm color tone and texture of wall surfaces. Bronze finished aluminum window systems, onyx exterior light fixtures, and wrought iron railings and canopy, added to this timeless architecture.
