Scope: Conceptual Design

Program: 41 story high rise with 350 condominiums, a 5 level, 800 car parking garage, situated next to rehabilitated and repurposed historic cathedral of Saint Vibiana.

Location: 222 S. Main St., Los Angeles

Construction: concrete

By virtue of its mass and height, the project will be a significant addition to the Los Angeles skyline. The design communicates an upbeat, creative, playful attitude, expressed in colored glass panels in the curtain wall. The vertical edges of the mass are eroded to make its boundaries ambiguous, giving a sense of fresh air enveloping the residences.
