Scope: Exterior Schematic design- Design development- Approvals process
Client: Holland Partner Group
Program: 7 floor residential building comprising of 204 rental units ranging from 485 sf studios to 1275 sf 3 bedroom apartments. The project includes a below grade parking garage and a 7000sf market.
Location: 1111 Wilshire, the corner of Wilshire and Bixel, downtown Los Angeles.
Construction: wood frame on a concrete podium; 3 levels basement parking.
Wilshire and Bixel are among the first locations to see major downtown revitalization. Holland Partner Group is responsible for bringing a colorful, decidedly optimistic flair to its trend setting projects in this otherwise bland environment. 1111 Wilshire carries this attitude further, conceptualizing its architecture as collection of friendly buildings, creating a human pedestrian scale.
